I've originally made this video because a few people have messaged me saying how the 'OpenGL 2.0 Support Error' keeps coming up every time they attempt to play a game. You can TRY THESE SOLUTIONS to try & solve the issue. I'm just covering the MAIN REASONS as to why this would happen, & what you can do about it. The PROBLEM is mainly your GRAPHICS CARD & the GRAPHICS CARD DRIVERS. (Can also be your motherboard.) Also, I've covered all of the information about DirectX that you may need. The drivers forMobile Intel 945GM Express Chipset Family are compatible with my graphics card as mentioned on the driver download page. In windows 8.1 I had installed intel graphics media accelerator because it supports openGL 2.0 but. Download the driver. OpenGL 2 support with this driver. External Graphics Cards vs. Video: NOTE: This can all be done in both 32bit & 64bit version of Windows. Note: You can also check which version of OpenGL you have by looking under Graphics in Speccy. Check out the Windows Compatibility Center to see if your Graphics card(s) can support DirectX 11: Check out the Windows Compatatibility Center to see if your motherboard(s) can support DirectX 11 by either: Typing in your motherboards name & model number OR selecting a brand name that matches the same name as your motherboard in: Top Brands under the list of Graphics cards & components. NOTE: To find the name & model number of Graphics card & or motherboard, look in your user's manual or search online. Read about OpenGL: Download Speccy: Download a program to check which version of OpenGL you have: Check to see which version of DirectX is currently installed on your computer: NOTE: The DirectX End-User Runtime Web Installer will update your current version of DirectX when you download & install it. However, if your graphics card can not support it, it will install the appropriate version, which will most likely be the same one you've had before: version 9.0c or 10.
